Marquee Letter Rental FAQ
What size are the marquee letters and numbers?
All of our marquee letters, numbers, and symbols stand an impressive 4 feet tall (48 inches). This is the ideal size for events — large enough to be seen across a ballroom, create stunning photo backdrops, and make a real statement at any venue. Many clients search for 'large marquee letters rental' or 'giant light up letters rental' — that's exactly what we offer.
Can I rent marquee numbers near me in Chicago?
Yes — we have every digit 0 through 9 available for rent as individual 4-foot illuminated numbers. We deliver throughout Chicago and all suburbs within 50 miles. Whether you're renting numbers for a birthday party, graduation year, prom year, anniversary, or sweet sixteen, we have you covered with professional delivery and setup.
What letters and symbols do you have available?
We carry the complete alphabet A through Z, all numbers 0 through 9, and popular symbols including hearts (♥), ampersands (&), and other special characters. You can spell out any name, word, date, or custom message — LOVE, MR & MRS, MARRY ME, GRAD, PROM, BABY, OH BABY, or anything you can imagine.
Do you rent 'MARRY ME' letters and proposal signs?
Absolutely — MARRY ME is one of our most popular requests. We offer discreet setup so the moment stays a complete surprise. We can set up at rooftops, lakefront parks, restaurants, hotels, backyards, and private venues anywhere in Chicagoland. We can also do 'WILL YOU MARRY ME' or custom proposal messages. Book 1–2 weeks ahead for proposal setups.
Do you have prom letters and numbers for rent?
Yes! Spring prom season is one of our busiest times of year. We rent PROM letters, class year numbers (2025, 2026, etc.), school initials, and any custom combination for grand march, prom photo walls, and after-prom parties. We strongly recommend booking early — March through May dates fill very fast for prom and graduation rentals.
What's included with the rental?
Your quote identifies the letters or numbers being rented and the agreed rental period. Delivery is charged separately. Confirm venue access, setup, breakdown, collection, and any additional services with our team before booking.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 2–4 weeks ahead, especially during peak wedding season (May–October) and graduation/prom season (April–June). Popular dates and holidays book up quickly. That said, we do accommodate last-minute requests when possible — contact us and we'll do our best.
Can marquee letters be used outdoors?
Ask our team to assess your proposed location before booking an outdoor setup. Share the surface, shelter, weather backup, and available power so we can confirm whether the requested arrangement is suitable. Do not assume the letters are weatherproof.
Where do you deliver marquee letters near me?
We deliver throughout Chicago and all suburbs within approximately 50 miles, covering Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, Will, and McHenry counties. That includes Naperville, Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, Oak Brook, Elmhurst, Aurora, Evanston, Orland Park, Joliet, Elgin, St. Charles, Lockport, and dozens more communities. If you're searching 'rent marquee letters near me' in the Chicago area, we're your closest full-service provider.
Can I combine marquee letters with other rentals?
Absolutely — and many clients do! Marquee letters pair beautifully with our flower wall backdrops, neon signs, photo booths, and other event rentals. We coordinate delivery and setup for everything together. Add any items to your quote for bundled convenience.

Marquee letters and numbers: planning answers
Chicago Flower Wall rents light-up marquee letters and numbers for wedding receptions, birthdays and corporate events. The display is planned around the requested word, initials or number combination. Send the exact characters and venue layout to confirm availability, arrangement dimensions and electrical requirements.
How much room does a marquee arrangement need?
The footprint depends on the specific letters or numbers, their spacing and how the display is supported. Send the exact wording and proposed location. Confirm the complete arrangement width, depth, power and clearance rather than multiplying a single character’s height.
Can marquee letters be placed outside?
Outdoor use needs review for the selected characters, surface, power supply and weather exposure. Share the proposed location and ask for approval before booking. A covered venue area does not automatically establish that an electrical rental is suitable there.
