Proposal Rental in Chicago: A Rose Heart Arch on the Tribune Tower Terrace
Chicago Flower Wall's proposal rental in Chicago built this scene on the crown terrace of Tribune Tower: a red rose heart arch with a glowing "Will You Marry Me?" neon at its center, and a terrace aisle outlined in pillar candles and vases of red roses, with downtown towers showing through the building's Gothic stone arches. The company delivers and sets up proposal scenes at Chicago landmarks and venues across the city and suburbs.

The Question, Written in Neon Inside the Heart
Some setups leave the asking to the moment. This one printed it. The neon script hangs inside the heart itself — "Will You Marry Me?" in warm yellow cursive — so the arch is not just a backdrop for the question; it is the question, readable from the far end of the terrace the second the couple steps out onto it.
Framing matters at this height. The heart arch rental stands centered between the terrace's stone columns, and the heart's opening lines up with the skyline behind it: glass towers on one side, older stone high-rises on the other, the river corridor below. Whoever planned the placement understood that the photograph of the moment would be shot down the aisle, and the aisle points straight through the heart at the city.
An Aisle Outlined, Not Covered
The terrace floor is patterned stone, and the setup respects it. Instead of a runner, two lines of pillar candles in glass cylinders trace the walk from the terrace entrance to the arch, with tall vases of red roses spaced along both rows. The close detail at the bottom of this story frame shows how the arch meets the ground: the heart's base is buried in a dense bed of red roses, candle flames standing in a row in front of it.
That restraint is what makes the scene read as architecture rather than decoration. The terrace's own Gothic stonework — carved balustrades, arched openings, gargoyled columns — stays visible everywhere the candles are not, and the red of the roses is the only saturated color in the frame. A proposal planner in Chicago working a landmark terrace has to build a scene strong enough to hold its own against the building without covering the building up; this is what that balance looks like from the aisle.
Built for the Photograph Looking Back
Proposals on terraces like this one are usually photographed twice: once walking in, once at the arch. The candle rows give both shots their structure — leading lines on the way in, and a lit foreground once the couple is standing inside the heart with the skyline behind them.
