Flower Wall Rental in Wheaton: Uncharted's New Danada Square Store Bought Its Own Wall
When Uncharted opened its new Wheaton store at Danada Square, it purchased a permanent flower wall from Chicago Flower Wall: a long, multicolor wall of roses and orchids in magenta, red, yellow, orange, and lavender, installed along the sales floor. Chicago Flower Wall is best known for flower wall rental in Wheaton and across the western suburbs — this job was the other kind, a wall built to stay.
A Wall Measured in Storefronts, Not Backdrops
Event walls are sized to a dance floor or a head table. This one is sized to a retail floor. The photograph is taken at an angle because it has to be: the wall runs the length of the department, past the track lights and the security camera, and still is not finished at the frame's edge. Up close the mix is deliberate chaos — deep magenta roses against yellow ones, orange blooms next to peach, lavender orchid sprays threading through all of it, with white roses and baby's breath scattered as breathing room.
A permanent wall has to survive a different kind of scrutiny than a rental. Rental guests see a wall for one evening, in party light. Shoppers see this one every day, in full retail lighting, from two feet away — which is why the density matters: no gaps, no visible backing, color holding up head-on.
Orchids in a Rose Wall
Look closer at the mix and the wall's second flower does quiet work: lavender orchid sprays, repeated from top to bottom, cool the hot reds and yellows around them and give the wall its depth on camera. Roses supply the density, but the orchids supply the contrast — without them the colors would flatten into one warm blur under the store's white ceiling lights. It is the kind of detail a one-night rental can borrow for an evening; a permanent wall has to get it right the first time, because it will be photographed thousands of times from the same angles.
Why a Store Buys the Wall Instead of Renting It
For a boutique built on discovery, the wall is not decoration behind the merchandise; it is part of the store's identity — the spot shoppers photograph, the backdrop that turns up in customers' own pictures tagged to the store. Renting makes sense for a weekend. A store that wants that backdrop in every week of its first year does the math differently, and this one bought the wall outright, as the caption on the original post says plainly: "The New Uncharted Store in Wheaton Purchased a Flower Wall from us!"
The same build is available the usual way, too: a flower wall rental from Chicago Flower Wall brings a wall like this to a Wheaton wedding, shower, or store event for the day, while retail and venue clients who want one permanently can ask about purchase and install alongside backdrop rentals in Chicago and the suburbs.
