Flower Wall Rental in Oak Brook: A Rainbow Wall Goes on Display at Uncharted
Chicago Flower Wall placed a flower wall rental in Oak Brook on public display: a floor-to-ceiling wall of mixed blooms installed inside the new Uncharted store at Oakbrook Center, where shoppers can walk up to it during store hours. The October 29, 2024 post announces the display and invites people to stop by and see the wall in action — a rare chance to stand in front of a rental piece before ever booking one.
Every Color in the Catalog, in One Wall
Most flower walls commit to a palette — blush, ivory, red. This one refuses to. The photograph shows orange marigold tones pushed against hot pink and coral roses, bands of lavender and powder blue, yellow accents scattered through, and white blooms breaking up the saturation. Packed edge to edge with no gaps, the wall reads less like a backdrop panel and more like a garden bed stood upright: color layered on color until the store's white wall behind it disappears completely.
Centered in the blooms is the store's own blue neon sign, spelling UNCHARTED in script-lit tubing. The sign is the store's, not part of the rental — but the pairing shows what hosts keep asking about: a name or logo glowing out of the flowers. Against this many colors, the cool blue holds its own, which is precisely why neon over florals photographs so well in person and on a phone screen.
A Showroom You Can Walk Into
The details around the wall sell its scale. A mannequin in a rust quilted jacket and coral button-front skirt stands in front of it at full height and still only reaches partway up the blooms. Clothing racks crowd in from the right, a woven basket sits on the light wood floor, and a Christmas tree tied with ribbons leans in from the left — the wall is not in a staged corner, it is in the middle of a working retail floor, holding its own against merchandise.
For anyone comparing a flower wall rental from photographs alone, a standing display answers the questions photos flatten: how dense the coverage really is, how the colors sit together under ordinary store lighting, and how tall the piece feels next to a person. This wall answers all three before a quote is ever requested.
