Backdrop Rental in Chicago: An Elegant White Floral Backdrop for a 30th Birthday
Chicago Flower Wall rents custom backdrops and floral installations for milestone birthdays and celebrations across Chicagoland. The setup in this post was styled by our sister company, The Pretty Party Boutique, for a 30th birthday in Chicago: a white center panel lettered "HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jojo," flanked by two tall floral columns in white, peach and rust roses, with a scalloped loveseat and white pedestals set in front. Chicago Flower Wall rents the same paneled backdrops and floral columns for 30th birthdays and adult celebrations throughout Chicago.
The Setup: Three White Panels Against a Black Brick Wall
The room gives this backdrop its contrast. The wall behind the setup is black brick, the floor at its edges is warm wood, and everything the Boutique placed in front of that wall is white. A white floor covering runs under the whole arrangement, so the setup reads as one bright stage set into a dark room. At its center stands a flat white panel lettered in black — "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" in a clean serif, and below it the name "Jojo" in script. The panel is flanked by two taller white arch panels with ribbed edging; the left one is left plain, and the right one carries the number 30 inside a thin circle, which is how the setup announces the milestone without a banner.
The Boutique's caption opens with its own review of the look — "Simple, yet elegant!" — and the hashtags file the post under 30th birthdays and white backdrops in Chicago, including the #dirty30 tag the occasion usually carries. The photograph shows why the styling earns the caption: nothing in the frame is bright except the backdrop itself, so guests standing in front of it are lit by the room and separated from it by the white. A custom backdrop rental built from flat and arched panels can be lettered for any name and numbered for any age, which is exactly the flexibility the caption goes on to announce.
The Florals: Two Columns of White, Peach and Rust Roses
Between the center panel and each arch panel stands a floral column, and the two columns carry all of the setup's color. They are dense from floor to above the center panel's top edge, built from roses in white and cream, blush and peach, and a deeper orange-rust, with green foliage worked through them and lighter sprigs reaching out at the top corners. The columns are not identical twins — the left runs paler, with more white and blush, and the right carries more of the rust and orange — which keeps a symmetrical composition from reading as stiff.
Floral columns do a different job from a flat flower wall. They frame the lettered panel the way pillars frame a doorway, they put flowers at three depths in a photograph — the columns forward of the panel, the panel behind them, the loveseat in front — and they let a host rent a concentrated amount of florals instead of a full wall. For a full-coverage version of the same palette, Chicago Flower Wall's flower wall backdrop rental covers the whole background in blooms; the columns in this post are the tailored alternative, color placed at the edges and the middle left clean for the lettering. The caption makes the same point in the Boutique's words, promising "luxe floral walls to modern balloon installations" from a single shop.
The Seat and the Pedestals: A Photo Lounge, Not Just a Wall
Centered in front of the panel is a loveseat — cream upholstery, a scalloped fan back, slender gold legs — placed on the white floor covering facing the room. It turns the backdrop into a photo lounge: the guest of honor sits, friends join on either side, and the lettered panel and floral columns fill the frame behind them. A standing-only backdrop gives guests one pose; a seat gives them a set piece, and it slows the photography down into something closer to a portrait sitting, which suits an adult milestone better than a party snapshot.
Four white cylindrical pedestals complete the arrangement, two on each side of the loveseat in staggered heights. In this photograph they stand empty, which shows their shape cleanly — smooth white cylinders that belong to the same all-white family as the panels and the floor covering. At a party they are the natural stands for a cake, drinks, flowers or gifts, keeping the food and the presents inside the photograph's stage instead of on a side table outside it. Hosts who want guests making something at the party can set a flower bar cart rental beside the pedestals and let the floral columns' palette repeat in bouquets guests take home.
The Announcement Behind the Post
This post carries news as well as a photograph. In the caption, the Boutique announces that it can "now create ANY style or type of backdrop on the market," from floral walls to balloon installations, as a one-stop shop, with backdrop packages coming soon — and it notes the working terms plainly: a delivery minimum applies, and a deposit is required to secure a date. The caption closes by pointing readers to its sister site, www.chicagoflowerwall.com. Jojo's 30th is the demonstration piece for that announcement: three panel shapes, custom lettering, a circled age, floral columns and furniture, assembled as one composed set rather than a single rented wall.
